FINANCIALS
Our trustees created a two-entity structure: the FoCi Foundation (Foundation) and the FoCi Foundation Charitable Trust (Trust). The Foundation and the Trust are separate legal entities with independently audited financial statements. Both entities are tax-exempt private foundations that are structured as a charitable trust. Each entity has a distinct purpose:
The Foundation
The Foundation distributes money to programs and grantees. It conducts all operations and grant-making work and is the entity from which all grants are made:
1. In the United States, the Foundation seeks to develop educational, social and cultural programs, platforms and marketplaces that nurture and promote Education and Art.
2. In the developing countries, the Foundation focuses on improving education and art and making sure that students are graduate-ready and prepared to compete globally.
The Trust
The Trust manages donated investment assets and transfer proceeds to the Foundation as necessary to achieve the Foundation’s charitable goals. The Trust holds donated investment assets and receives contributions from the FoCi Group. Its trustees are Eddy and Jeannie Joseph and Patricio Livingstone.
